For someone, school life is an important stage in a life's journey. During this stage, one has to learn a sound knowledge, ensure the healthy development in both physically and mentally as well as to develop good moral character, so as to form correct values gradually and create a scientific world outlook. As a result, to cultivate correct moral concept and world outlook when one was young is the focal point of the work for the moral education for the stage of primary and middle school. At present, there are some kinds of phenomenon appear in the society, which directly exert advantages and disadvantages influence to the young people in many aspects. Since the politics course has been established in the curriculum for primary ad middle school in China, there is a perfect mode to create a patriotism and moral education for the young people.The study is mainly divided into two parts. The first part is from the traditional moral education in ancient China to probe into the origin of the moral education. Moreover, with the angle of the theory of human nature to study the difficulty in current moral education. The second part is mainly to make the comparison and study on the moral education program between Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan and main land China. Try to find out the general plan and objective for the moral education program carried out in primary and middle school in Macau; and suggest some measures and steps to integrate the prospect of Macau with the future of themselves, making the students' moral character comes to a higher realm.Before returning to motherland, Macau was a colony of Portugal. After the hand over, Macau becomes part of the People Republic of China, the government of Macau Administrative Region really should think over and design a moral education program which can accord with the idea of Macau people govern Macau to make sure that the students in Macau can realize that as a Chinese's citizen's rights and responsibilities through a formal education. In order to create a suitable moral education for Macau students, we have to deal properly with the problems of patriotic education and national education.The report is going to analyze the situation of moral education for primary and middle school in Macau in the past, the current condition after hand over as well as the existing problems. To determine the content and adoptable method the measures adopted, steps and the problems that should be taken notice for moral education conducted in the schools in Macau during the process of teaching.The result of the research shows that before hand over, the development of Macau moral education was influenced by colonialism for a rather long time, which caused a deviation in moral education development, was totally short of patriotic and national education. After Macau returned to motherland in 1999, the government of Special Administrative Region should put forth effort to strengthen the related patriotic and national obligational education, so as to encourage the Macau moral education comes to more comprehensive development. It is believed that it is the road we must follow for the future moral education in Macau.
