With the development of network technology, great changes have taken place in reading. The widespread network has offered us better chance in terms of reading. In the circumstance of network culture, super reading is challenging the teaching of traditional reading not only in both teaching structure and teaching mode but also in the mode of thinking. Though super reading and traditional reading are not quite different, it actually has made us reconsider our teaching methods of reading. Its richness of reading contents, its open situations, its interaction of reading process and its creativity after reading have shown the special charming characteristics of super reading as well as its great differences from traditional reading. To meet the challenge of super reading, we have to change our teaching ideas, improve our teaching modes; we have to enlarge our reading and improve ourselves; we have to motivate the students' interest in reading and improve their abilities in appreciation; we have to focus on their comprehensive abilities and creativities. We have no choice but to make full use of super reading, improve our present teaching methods, follow the specific rules in the teaching of reading, and believe in its bright future. What's more important is that we must fully respect teaching practice, use network situation and uphold the completely new windows and enlarge our views. We must learn to link and discover problems, interact in the forums and research together, set up new text and change our study mode. We must use the spirit of developing network media potential to reinforce appreciative abilities in reading. The catharsis and random of network literature, its open text, its personal emphasis and its simple sentence structure as well as its moving story and close-to-life style have made it possible to stress composition creativities on line. We can do nothing but find our shortcomings of reading teaching in the research of super reading, follow the rules...
