Now, the research on the communication between teacher andstudent is the fashionable discourse in the modern education study. Itis concerned by the researchers of the educational circles. In thethesis,the author employs the method of philosophic thinking to makea deep and systematic study of the ontological value of "play"in thecommunication between teacher and student. In the field of "play"research, it is generally considered that "play"is a kind of activitiessuch as game in the kindergarten or the playful activities in the schooleducation. But, in the thesis, the author focuses on the meaning of the"play"in the philosophic sphere. In the thesis, the author firstlyprobes into the history of the "play"theory, and then focuses on theontological value of "play"from two parts. In the first hand, theauthor studies the substance value of the "play"from the point of itscomponents. The substance value of the "play"includes four parts.The first, the identity of the player makes the teacher and student intothe true world of communication. The second, the attitude of theplayer distinguish "true"play from "false"play. The third, the rule ofthe play associates "play"with the communication between teacherand student as well as blended as milk and water. The fourth, theform of the play makes the communication between teacher andstudent in proper order. In the second hand, the author analyzes anddiscusses the subject value of the "play"from the point of pursuingthe perfect state of exist and communication between teacher andstudent. The subject value of the "play"includes three parts. Firstly,the "player"transforms from "symbolic man"to "ontological man".Secondly, the "player"communicates from the type of "courtesy"tothe type of "generation". Thirdly, the "player"relates each other fromthe type of "assistance"to the type of "dependence". In the thesis, theauthor wants to reveal the significance of "play"on the new"teacher-student"relationship through the research on theontological value of "play"in order to push forward the research onthe field of communication between teacher and student.
