The study analyzed the data with Spss10.0 for Windows by way of descriptive statistics, compare means, correlation analysis and step regression analysis. The results showed that: 1. Teachers currently encountered much occupational stress especially examination stress and workload stress. At the same time, the degree of occupational burnout of teachers was fairly serious. 2. Some demographic variables significantly influenced occupational burnout such as gender, whether the school is important, job experience time, whether he taught in secondary school and why he became a teacher, while other demographic variables had no significant effect on occupational burnout including age, degree, teaching bank, whether he was on duty and which subject he taught. 3.
