Cognitive strategy is inside directional skills which learner organizes to regulate activities such as learning and thinking. It is the cream of scientific learning method and also the most important learning skills for a learner. Learning how to learn becomes one subject of education of our time with the trend of the era of knowledge economy. It is necessary to integrate cognitive strategy with chemistry teaching in middle school. To do the research into teaching approaches of cognitive strategy in chemistry, teaching in middle school will contribute to teachers' employment of the cognitive strategy in the teaching practice of chemistry in middle school as to upgrade the efficiency of chemistry teaching. The research can enhance the students' ability of acquiring and learning cognitive strategy integrating chemistry learning content. Thus students can learn efficiently.On the basis of the precious researches, some researches have been done on the following four aspects, combining teaching approaches of the cognitive strategy with chemistry. These are original ideals.1. On the pattern of information processing of cognitive psychology, the paper puts forward new classified system of cognitive strategy integrating chemistry learning content.2. Application of the cognitive strategy of chemistry teaching in middle school. Integrating chemistry teaching, the paper puts forward the significance and the application of selective attention strategy, repetition strategy, elaborative strategy, organized strategy, and problem-solving strategy in chemistry teaching form infiltration angle. Thus the author solves the problem that what should be done in infiltration teaching of cognitive strategy in chemistry.
