The study focused on the configurational changes of RBC FR and membrane protein. To explore the effect of acute incremental exercise to exhaustion on RBCM configuration, we researched activity of FR, Na~+-K~+-ATPase and concentration of Band-3 protein of RBCM.The study compared RBC MDA concentration, SOD activity, Na~+-K~+-ATPase activity and Band-3 protein concentration on RBCM pre- exercise with that of post exercise by an acute incremental ergometer exercise to exhaustion. The results as follows:1. Acute incremental exercise to exhaustion increased the concentration of RBC MDA and decreased the activity of SOD, which indicated that production of FR increased in the body, resulting in the reduced capacity of oxidation resistance, and RBC was damaged.2. Na~+-K~+-ATPase activity on RBCM reduced significantly, and disordered RBC system function, which influencing the function of RBC after acute incremental exercise to exhaustion.3.The concentration of RBCM Band-3 protein decreased after acute incremental exercise to exhaustion., which suggested that RBCM albumen configuration has changed. Exercise can result in RBCM configurational change, directly influencing the lifespan and the function of RBC.
