It is valuable both in theory and in practice to guild P.E industry and aesthetics education by investigating the regulation of athletics items enjoyed by the communities in metropolises in China and aesthetically analyzing groups of items. After sampling and investigating the regulation of athletics items enjoyed by the communities in metropolises in China, we find that the region difference of the communities is not obvious. Age difference has been found in the communities that enjoy athletics. Those who are under 35 years old prefer to ground antagonism and wrestle antagonism, while those who are 35 to 50 years old probably choose the difficult and beautiful sports. In general, the people over 50 years old usually are favor of the difficult and beautiful sports.Sex difference is another one existing in the communities that enjoy athletics. In the community who is inclined to the difficult and beautiful sports, the number of the male is smaller than the number of the female.The people with sufficient P.E knowledge prefer to appreciate the difficult and beautiful sports, while those with scare knowledge are uninterested in them.The influence of different cultures is connected with the communities that enjoy ground antagonism. Net antagonism is very popular with the communities. In the items dominated by the physical force, there are large numbers of people that prefer to speed. There is not obvious region difference in those items which are on the ice, in the snow or on the boat. The aesthetic theory of groups of P.E items is a new branch of aesthetics. This theory benefits from the theories of groups of P.E items and aesthetics. It is possible to establish a system of the aesthetic theory of groups of P.E items, because it has plenty of research support.
