Instructional Media is a very active element in today's class teaching. In our era of Information Technology, Information Instructional Media sustained by computer technology, multimedia technology, and network technology is now fusing into the post-secondary class activities. This whole process will become a breaking point of China's high level education to continuously deepen revolution, to improve quality of education, and to foster more competent students. However, while Information Instructional Media is being used extensively in post-secondary class educations, and is bringing positive influence to education, it also creates some negative effects, which provoked a lot of doubt and argument over the educational efficacy of Instructional Media, especially Information Instructional Media. This research is to investigate the key steps of the operation process of Instructional Media in post-secondary class educations, based on theoretically analyzes of the effect of educational characteristics of Instructional Media on post-secondary class education, taking HuaZhong Agricultural University as the research object. Combining the qualitative and quantitative methodologies, this research analyzes and researches the detailed effects of Instructional Media on post-secondary class education, and the reasons behind these effects, as well as giving corresponding consummate measure.This paper has six parts. The first part is introduction. It expatiates on the source of the problem, the purpose and significations of the research, major contents of the research, the international research status, and major research methods. The second part discusses some general theories of Instructional Media, including the concepts, classification, essence, and educational characteristics of Instructional Media. The third part discusses the general theories of the post-secondary class education, including the concepts, characteristics of the post-secondary class education, as well as its system and educational process. The fourth part focuses on discussing the use of three common Instructional Media in post-secondary class education. The fifth part takes HuaZhong Agricultural University as the research object, elaborately investigates the selecting, producing, and using of Instructional Media, and its influence on professors and students. Based on these investigations, it then analyzes and discusses the effects of Instructional Media on education in practical, as well as the elements that affect the exertion of the educational characteristics of Instructional Media. The sixth part based on the theoretical and statistical analysis, arrives with a research result and gives corresponding consummate measure according to the actuality. The last part is the final conclusion.
