Materials On Culture Of Folk Custom In Chinese Teaching And How To Use Them

The materials on culture of folk custom has heen playing an indispensable role in improving the students' Chinese literary attainments. As the culture of folk custom can be put either into the category of traditional culture or into the category of folk culture, The corresponding materials have always been overlooked. And their role in Chinese teaching can hardly" be fully played. This article will define the culture of folk custom and its rich connotation, roughly describe the development of the materials on culture of folk custom in our Chinese teaching, analyse the role and significance of those materials in Chinese teaching ,and finally explore some methods on how to use these materials in Chinese teaching, and the advantages of doing so .This paper, from a completely new perspective, tries to activiate the students' learning interest , deepen their understanding of our national culture , guide them to observe life around, cultivate their creativity ability , enrich their thought and at last impove their Chinese accomplishments.
