The 21th century is an age of knowledge economy and information, the speed ofknowledge aging increases consumedly, lifelong learning will become the goal thateducation desired. Leading with this goal, education technology changes from "thesupport of teachers' instruction" to "the support of students' learn". With theaccelerating process of education reform and the booming theories and practice ofweb-based instruction and learning, the procedure of WBL has become hotnowadays. Since MOE issued the principles of the education of InformationTechnology in Primary and Middle School, which calls the attention of theresearchers, how to not only improve learning efficiency and strengthen the resultsof learning, promote students' information Literacy, but also cultivate students'individualized learning and cooperative learning competency, is still an urgentproblem to be solved in senior middle school for most information technologyteachers.Based on plenty of literature and careful investigation and analysis, the thesispoints out the feasibility and necessity of exploration and application of thefacilitating website for IT course in senior middle school. Both the facilitatingwebsite and classroom instructions have their own advantages, they can make up foreach other and interact with each other's development, to promote the learning anddevelopment of the students.Facilitating learning, is taking students and learning as the center, and providingvarious support service in the student's learning process, the aim is to improvelearning efficiency and learning effect. The facilitating website for IT course insenior middle school is established in the campus network by subject teacher, whichused to auxiliary learning and research on IT course in senior middle school. It has afunction of helping the student to deal with the difficulty in learning and promotingstudent to deepen his understanding. In this way,the net plays a role of s e-tutor forlearning and e-assistant to facilitate learning. Mainly by combining of auxiliarycontents and strategies that inside the learning materials and resources, and externalnetwork technology with multiform of service, the facilitating website for IT coursein senior middle school provides support and help for students' learning process.This thesis did researches for student's learning process on facilitating services,then put forward that we need to provide facilitating strategies in the pre-requisitecapabilities, learning situation, cooperation, resources, real-time supporting andreflection. Meanwhile has developed the facilitating website for IT course in seniormiddle school on the basis of research and design, and made do researches on itsapplication timely. After analysis and reflection, the thesis also points out the weakpoint and the room for improvement of the website.
