Research On The Sampling Design Of Non-locals For Working In Tianjin Of 2005

In order to find out the figures of the non-locals for working in Tianjin, Tianjin MunicipalGovernment request the city statistics bureau organizing the sample survey. The present paper isjust the research result reorganized by the author basing on the sampling survey plan whichdiscussed by the municipal statistics bureau and professor Zhou Hengtong.The article uses the research technique including the plan formulation and the plan narration.The former refers to formulate the non-locals for working sampling survey plan of Tianjin. Thelatter refers to narrate the problems existing in the nation 1% population sampling survey plan.The entire frame of the paper is made up of formulating the non-locals for workingsampling survey plan of Tianjin which is the achievement basing on the author participating inthe plan discussion and reorganizing the record. According to the difference of the settlementtype, the non-locals for working of Tianjin divides into two parts to carry on the sampling survey.The paper correspondingly divides into three parts. The first part is the sample design of thenon-locals for working in the dwelling which brings into line with in 1% population samplesurvey in 2005. The second part is the sample design of the non-locals for working in thenon-dwelling mainly using the technique of sampling from two frames. The third part istabulation of Tianjin non-locals for working. In the above three parts, not only the article givesthe reason of design this kind of sample plan and the steps in sample survey, but also it furtherproduces the total estimation, variance and estimated variance of the non-locals for working.As for the plan narration, the author proposes his own new opinion to the sample sizecalculating of 1% population sample as well as the figures announcement method. Many peoplein our country regard the sample of 1% population sampling survey as the population of 1%population sampling survey. This kind of misunderstanding leads to the problems in the samplesize calculating and estimation of ratio. The article discusses these misunderstandings briefly andfurther gives the normative calculation method under 1% population sample survey plan ofTianjin.
