Labor force survey is an important national regular sample survey which concerns people's living.Labor force survey data are crucial to the labor market management,relevant policy formulation,and even the macro-control of the market.China launched a national monthly labor force survey in July 2015,which has made important changes in the form of the labor force survey and the scope of the survey.Tianjin Employment Service Demands Survey expands the sample size based on the national monthly labor force survey,and add relevant indicators such as human resources and labor security.These improves have led to changes in the labor force investigation system.Due to the lack of experience in the labor force survey,it is particularly urgent to analyze and improve the labor force survey system.This article takes Tianjin as an example,using literature analysis,comparative analysis and case study methods to carry out the current circumstances and improvement countermeasures.This paper first carried out a theoretical study of the labor force survey system and empirical analysis in China and abroad.Then it conducts an in-depth analysis of the current circumstances and existing problems of the labor force survey system in Tianjin,from the aspects of topics design,sampling method,sample rotation,and data collection.The two-stage sample rotation method is elaborated and proposed separately.Finally,measures and recommendations are put forward for the integration of indicators,sample rotation and data release in the labor force survey system in Tianjin.
