In the middle school English study process, due to prejudice of some language teachers, culture teaching hasn't been given enough attention. They emphasize analyzing sentences, explaining new words and phrases and translating sentences into Chinese. Many students are short of cultural awareness, Lacking the understanding of the cultural knowledge. Perhaps they think there is no relationship between culture and the result of language test, therefore they don't often treat culture seriously, even simply set it aside. The reason lies in: first, they think the main goal of the middle school English teaching is the language knowledge instruction; second, they think Trans-culture education is too abstruse and complex, also is not easy to operate.Our teaching materials are mostly interesting and knowledgable , providing a specific cultural context for the learners, manifesting the culture aspects in English-speaking countries. Chinese and the west culture differences should be the teaching key points. Therefore, the teachers must not only carry on the essential explanation to the words and also express cultural context knowledge, moreover the suitable comparison should be thought in order to make the student understand the differences between two kind of cultures. If we want to grasp the correct methods in utilization English in the teaching, we may adopt the comparison way involved in the teaching material.
