In the paper author makes a research on fostering students' ability to put question on their own in the teaching of senior biology on the basis of the new idea of "to stress developing the spirit of blazing new trails and ability of practicing " in Biological New Course Criteria .In the investigation , following five questions are analysed: 1) How to realize the necessity and value of questioning for the students of senior middle school;2) Whether the students are conscious of the importance of questioning at present;3) Teacher's attitude towards questioning of students;4 ) the questions are settle as its emerge from students;5 ) And the students have some questions but why they are not willing to put them . The author has made a teaching experiment research on developing students' ability of putting question in the senior third grade on the basis of above five aspects .The conclusions are reached as follows: 1) As a result of investigation of the consciousness of questioning of students from Chenzhou City, it indicates: Most of students are not too introspected or ask a questions in reply. A lot of them are not awake of wanting to put questions. Even if these students have some questions, there are mainly the ones that their homework can not be worked out or the things not to be understood after reading. But the further questions can not be put. And most of students don't know how to put the questions or are not willing to ask. So it is very necessary and important to heighten the awareness of questioning of students, to train them in finding the questions, to teach them the ways and skills to ask. 2) As a result of teaching experiment research, it indicates: Most of students trained are greatly improving in the varieties, the creativeness, interrelation of questioning. By making a comparison of records of monthly test betweenstudents trained and these untried, it is proved well that developing students' ability of questioning in class will spur them to comprehend knowledge better and deeplier, urge them to introspect so as to learn the correct ways of study, instead of lowering their school records.3 ) The result of teaching experiment research also prove that K-W-L model of study tactics which is found by Carr and Ogle in American is also suited to the educations of our country although there are differences in condition of country. |
