Study On The Assessment Index System About The Undergraduates' Ideological And Political Education Of The Department Of University

The scientization and consummation of the assessment index system (AIS) about the undergraduates' ideological and political education (UIPE) of the department of university directly relates to the success or failure of undergraduates' ideological and political education assessment (IPEA) and further relates to the improvement and the development of UIPE. Therefore, it's very necessary to systematically study the AIS and fortunately this is possible.The constructing of scientific AIS not only has a great academic significance and a practical significance to IPEA itself and the UIPE but also has a promotion to the undergraduates' ideological and political quality. It not only provides uniform criterion for IPEA, but also favors to the strengthening and the improving of UIPE as well as the undergraduates' ideological and political quality.Unfortunately, the research on the AIS has gain little progresses until now. At present, several universities adopt some fragmentary index systems established by themselves, while the index systems are unscientific and infeasible. In this thesis, AIS is taken as the research object, and a more through discussion has carried out.The constructing of AIS was depending not on baseless imagines but on basis of the scientific theory and objective reality. It takes the Marx's assessment view, the Marx's education theory, the pedagogy and the psychology principle, the mathematics and statistics rule, the logic and the system science together with the rule of UIPE as the theoretic foundation, and it takes a series of national policy, the departments' practicality and the overall condition of UIPE as the realistic basis, at the same time it is enslaved to the aim of the assessment.The constructing of AIS must observe the certain rules and follow the correctguiding ideology--the principles. The principles have: epochal character and guideprinciples, systematic and scientific principles, and relative independent and compatible principles, fair and valid principles.Under the guide of the above basis and principles, this thesis constructed an index system of IPEA. On the basis of specifying and standardizing the aim, the content and the request of the UIPE, AIS is formed, being composed of the basic indexes and the characteristic indexes. Among them, the basic indexes include 5 first-order items (such as" the work idea"), under which have 17 second-order items and 49 concrete observation points; the characteristic indexes mainly reflect the mark achievement of UIPE. In addition, this thesis introduced two commonly used methods of index weight——experienced method of index weight and Delphi Technique, then explained the connotation of the main observation points and some questions that should be paid attention to. Afterwards, in order to conveniently operate the index system in practice, this thesis especially and uniquely pointed out five aspects of noticeable proceedings that should be paid great attention to and be avoided in the process of applying the index system.
