With the development of the theory about lifelong education and learning society, the demands and expectations of people in education are growing and growing. The fast pace of modern society has also called adult teaching effective and useful. However, the current adult teaching model still subjects to discipline-centered and inculcate-accept which is far behind the requirements of the times, and unable to meet the needs of adult's development. Hence the need to build one or some open, integrative innovative adult teaching model is urgent. The new adult teaching model should make the adults acquire knowledge and empowerment through active participations in multi-channels. The adult students can integrate and apply knowledge in practice to effectively address problems that are encountered in life and career through learning.Adult Project-based teaching is an adult teaching model that in the guidance of teachers, according to adult learners' characteristics make students synthesize knowledge of all relative disciplines, carry out an intact project, resolve problems and make products to set up the knowledge. It has a substantial and abundant theoretical foundation, and has incomparable advantage when it was applied to adult's teaching than traditional teaching model. In this paper, first I explore the project-based learning's connotation, main factors and characteristics etc, and investigate the theoretical foundation. Then I combine the characteristics of adult's learner to speculate a model that apply the project-based learning to adult's teaching. Furthermore, I inquiry into the principle of this model in its implementing and teacher's function of guiding. Final, on the basis of practice, I conceive a specific teaching case to test the feasibility of this model.
