| With the rapid development of the information age society,education and teaching should keep pace with the progress of The Times and cultivate high-quality talents with innovative ability to meet the needs of social development.Traditional teaching mode can not meet the burden of college education to transport outstanding talents for the society.How to optimize the teaching mode to train talents with high-level thinking ability in line with the needs of the society is an urgent problem to be solved.Project-based teaching emphasizes on task-driven students to conduct inquiry activities in real situations and solve problems with theoretical knowledge,which is conducive to the occurrence of deep learning.Although project-based teaching can optimize the teaching effect to a certain extent,there are still many problems.For example,project-based teaching only stays in the form,which makes students still in the superficial learning state and fails to effectively improve higher-order thinking ability.Based on this background,this study designed a project-based teaching model to promote college students’ deep learning and conducted practical exploration and research.By referring to a large number of domestic and foreign relevant materials on deep learning and project-based teaching,this study understands the current status of deep learning and project-based teaching,and seeks the connection between project-based teaching and deep learning as well as the theoretical basis to pave the way for the construction of the subsequent model.A questionnaire was designed to investigate the current deep learning level of college students and the situation of project-based teaching.The existing problems were analyzed according to the results of the questionnaire.Guided by Bloom’s educational objective classification theory,situational cognition theory,discovery teaching theory and constructivism learning theory,project-based teaching process was applied and deep learning route was taken as guidance.A project-based teaching model is designed to promote deep learning among college students.The undergraduates of educational technology in H university are selected as the research objects for teaching practice.Questionnaire survey,SOLO result classification,observation and interview are adopted to test students’ deep learning level,higher order thinking ability,thinking structure level and satisfaction.Verify the validity of the model through the changes of students.The practical results show that the project-based teaching mode promoting deep learning of college students improves the learning enthusiasm and internal motivation of students,improves the level of deep learning and thinking structure of students,and promotes the development of students’ independent learning ability,critical thinking ability,problem solving ability,communication ability,collaboration ability,innovation ability and other higher-order thinking ability.Students’ sense of experience and satisfaction with the course are enhanced.Thus,it can be shown that the project-based teaching mode designed in this study to promote deep learning of college students can effectively promote the occurrence of deep learning of college students and improve their higher-order thinking ability,which is operable and effective. |
