As to its structure, it can be divided into three aspects, that is, material, institution and spirit.And it has the function of demonstration; direction and cohesion; abandon and creation; restraint and edification, balance and coordination and so on. At the same time, it has the value of knowledge, society, medium, mind, science and aesthetic education. Moreover, it has the promotional function in nourishing campus literae-environment, improving the ability of talents and cultivating advanced culture.As a part of the integrated social culture, campus culture is influenced by Chinese traditional culture, the western culture, the Hong Kong and Taiwan culture, the net culture and so on. Therefore, it is an extremely vital and urgent duty to strengthen the campus cultural construction. The campus cultural construction must follow the principle of " reforming the people by culture", the principle of inheriting and innovation, and the principle of gaining certain ends. It mainly includes the construction of physical and social campus environment, and cultivating professionals and so on. It is realized through cultivating the spirit of campus. The spirit of campus is the soul of a school, the common ideal and the value orientation of the campus community.
