Mathematics anxiety has bad effect on the mathematics achievement of senior high school students. It will affect the students' choices of employments. Too much mathematics anxiety will lead to psychology abnormity. This paper will research the relationship of mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievements. And the research of the model of the two factors will be done.The study investigated three senior high schools students which grades vary from grade I to grade 3 and three scales were used to research the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievements. The three scales named as Mathematics Anxiety Scale Mathematics Self-efficacy Scale Mathematics Learning Motivation Scale .And this study yielded the following main results:I. There were significant differences in mathematics anxiety, mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics learning motivation between the male and the female participants. The scores of female's anxiety was higher than male's. The scores of female's self-efficacy was lower than male's. The scores of female's learning motivation was lower than male's.II. Students in high school of grade 3 had high scores in mathematics anxiety. They had lower inner learning motivation.III. There were significant differences in mathematics anxiety, mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics learning motivation between the liberal and the science participants. The scores of liberal student's anxiety were higher than the science student's. The scores of liberal student's self-efficacy were lower than the science student's. The scores of liberal's learning motivation was lower than science's.IV. There exited a linear connection between the mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievement.V. In this research, we validated these assumptions by the method of path analysis The results showed that Mathematics self-efficacy is a mediator variable, which can mediate the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievement;Mathematics self-efficacy had direct effect on the mathematics achievement.
