As a core concept of motivation theory,self-efficacy has been widely concerned by researchers.In addition,it is also of great significance to pay attention to the calibration of self-efficacy.With the change of the reasonable degree of effectiveness calibration,mathematics self-efficacy may have different effects on students’ learning.When students’ self-efficacy level is too high,but their real ability is very low,they will overestimate their own ability.In this case,students will not make progress if they are not aware of their own shortcomings.On the contrary,when the students’ mathematics ability is high,but the level of self-efficacy is low,this negative self-confidence will cause them to fear difficulties,avoid activities related to mathematics,and have anxiety about mathematics learning.Therefore,it is of great significance to help students establish correct judgment of effectiveness calibration for students’ performance.It is of great guiding value for society,schools,parents and students to explore the relationship between mathematical efficacy,mathematical anxiety,effectiveness calibration and mathematical performance.This study uses mathematics anxiety questionnaire,mathematics test paper and mathematics self-efficacy questionnaire to investigate the relationship among mathematics self-efficacy,mathematics anxiety and mathematics achievement of junior high school students in Nanning City,and uses Johnson Neyman technology to explore the moderating effect of efficiency calibration(deviation and degree of deviation).The results are as follows(1)Mathematics anxiety is negatively correlated with mathematics achievement and mathematics self-efficacy,positively correlated with mathematics achievement,positively correlated with efficiency deviation and mathematics self-efficacy,negatively correlated with mathematics anxiety,and negatively correlated with efficiency deviation and mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics achievement.(2)Mathematics anxiety plays a mediating role in the process of the influence of mathematics self-efficacy on mathematics achievement.(3)The moderating effect of efficacy calibration on the mediating effect of mathematics anxiety was significant.Among them,efficiency deviation can adjust the first half path of mediation,and the degree of efficiency deviation can adjust the first half path and direct path of mediation.
