The study investigate and analyse the scientific inquiry consciousness and the ability of the part students in my school based on the learning and research the inquiry-based teaching, some succeeding methods and the study about the scientific inquiry on home and abroad, we find the existing problem. We carry on the teaching practice of the scientific inquiry activity combined to the junior high school biology teaching, we explore a copy of the inquiry-based teaching and the evaluating system fitting to the junior high school students, we find the better way of accelerating the changing the new and the old teaching methods, the result show :1. The inquiry-based teaching can heighten the inquiry ability of student obviously;2. The inquiry-based teaching can heighten the quality in all-round way of the student;3. Evaluating the inquiry-based teaching not only pay attention to the evaluating result, but also demand to evaluate the course of the inquiry-based teaching, in this way ,it is beneficial to develop the individuation;4. The biology teaching combine the inquiry-based teaching to the traditional teaching the sutra part of quiz, enlightenment, abduction and so on. It is easier to inspire the positivity and the creationary of the students, it can enhance the question consciousness and the inquiry spirit , bring up the cooperating spirit and the sensibility experience,it is beneficial to change the new and the old teaching methods;5. Reflection of teaching can make the teacher master the study instance and the opinion of the lesson of the student. Review the teaching, it is beneficial to improve on the teaching and make the teaching more perfect;6. The inquiry-based teaching can cultivate the inquiry consciousness, the scientific inquiry spirit and the preciseness attitude of science , it is beneficial to heighten the quality in all-round way and bring up all kinds of ability, it is more important to bring up the ability of the lifetime learning of students.
