| Since the new curriculum reform,biology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)and Biology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition)have clearly pointed out the necessity of cultivating students’ inquiry ability,which means that cultivating students’ inquiry ability in teaching has become one of the important tasks for biology teachers.PBL is a problem-based teaching model in which students solve practical problems through group cooperative learning or independent inquiry under the guidance of teachers.In this process,students’ inquiry ability can be cultivated.However,after consulting relevant materials,it is found that there are few domestic studies that combine it with biology teaching in junior middle school.Therefore,this study adopts PBL teaching mode to conduct biology teaching in junior middle school,so as to cultivate students’ inquiry ability and provide practical reference for front-line biology teachers to cultivate students’ inquiry ability.In order to study the PBL in junior high school biology teaching to cultivate students’ ability to explore the situation,this research adopts literature research,the structured interview method,questionnaire survey method,such as group method and other research methods,experiment method and teaching situation of junior high school biology teachers’ teaching and students to explore the ability level investigation research,for example teaching design and practice.This paper consists of five parts: The first part mainly expounds the background,purpose,significance and content of the research,and summarizes the research progress of PBL at home and abroad;The second part is to define the relevant concepts of the research and explain the theoretical basis of the research;The third part is the investigation and analysis of junior middle school biology teachers’ teaching situation and students’ pre-test of inquiry ability;The fourth part shows some junior middle school biology PBL teaching examples based on the cultivation of inquiry ability and makes a detailed analysis of the post-test results of students’ inquiry ability.The results show that PBL teaching model has a very significant effect on improving junior middle school students’ biological inquiry ability.The last part is the summary and prospect of this study.The conclusions show that :(1)the overall inquiry ability of the experimental class and the control class has been significantly improved before teaching.(2)For the six dimensions of inquiry ability,both the experimental class and the control class have improved before teaching.Under PBL mode,both the conventional teaching mode and PBL teaching mode can promote the improvement of students’ inquiry ability,but PBL has a more significant effect.Therefore,PBL teaching mode is more conducive to the improvement of students’ inquiry ability and can provide practical reference for front-line biology teachers to cultivate students’ inquiry ability. |
