With the development of computer multimedia technology and curriculum reform of basic education,traditional instructional design neglects the students' cognitive major roles. Traditional instructional design does' t to offer a sufficient learning environment,etc.At the same time,National standards of biology course (Experimental Edition) explicitly indicates:the focus of reform on biology course is to face on all student, cultivate science ability and call for inquiry-based learning. So the present instructional design is not fit with the new way of modern education.It need an instructional design that is easy to manipulate.The writer investigates the questions in biology instructional design and the reasons on selecting constructivism. The study tries to combine theory with practice, and innovates instructional design based on constructivism in biology of junior school.Compared to traditional instructional design,the instructional design requires that the role of the students should be put on the first and should be the positive contractors of knowledge. The teaching process is the teacher with the students' double side activity.The teacher and the students undertake the different role in the teaching activity.Regarding student as the center of instructional design.There are learning objectiver design,learner-profil eassessment,instructional environment design,information resource design,instructional framework design, instructional evaluation design,etc.The writer devise a form of classroom instructional design.A teacher can directly apply the form to classroom instructional design.It is beneficial to the teachers' to manipulate.It can improve instruction effect and instruction efficiency.How to evaluate and amend instructional design?The writer also devise a form of classroom instructional design evaluation.A teacher can evaluate the other teacher's instructional design and himself.He can accumulate experience and improve the level of instructional design.The writer apply the instructional design model to classroom instruction of biology.From the analysis of these researches, the writer draw a conclusion: the new instructional design is better than traditional instructional design.The instructional designs applied to the class instruction can increase the students' study grade,the study interest, the ability of acquiring knowledge.The instructional design provides some valueable manipulations for biology teachers to apply in junior high school.
