With the further development of our country's basic education reform, the research and practice for the integration of information technology and network technology with curriculum have become an important and new issue. The integration study of information and network technology and physics instruction will produce an effective impact to physics teaching and learning in transform and development in China. The necessity and the importance of integrating information technology into the curriculum based on theory and practice were presented in this thesis. The relationship between integrating information technology into the curriculum and Web-based instruction was given. As one of the main forms of the Integrating IT into the Curriculum at information age, Web-based instruction should be considered. According to the classification and the characteristic of learning ways, network technology, physics curriculum, and their relations among them, there are four primary Web-based instruction models in physics teaching in high school as 1) assisted teaching model, 2) self-learning model, 3) cooperation and exploring model, and 4) Web-based exploring model. The experimental method and the results were also presented. This thesis includes five parts, i.e., 1) Introduction, 2) the principle and importance of Web-based instruction in physics teaching in senior high school, 3) the constructing the primary models of Web-based teaching into physics teaching, 4) the experimental studies and 5) the conclusions. To construct the primary models of Web-based teaching into physics instruction is the key. The models were applied in the physics instruction and verified to be effective.
