Job burnout, which influences one's work performance and his health of physical and mental is studied by psychologists. The former researches on teacher job burnout focus on the teachers of elementary schools or high school, Systemic study on job burnout of teacher lectrer is rare. The paper aims at the relationship among job burnout, job satisfaction and social support of the teacher lecturer. In this thesis, 400 teachers of HUST are investigated. The instruments are tested credibly and validly. This research makes use of several statistics methods, such as EFA, CFA, ANOVA, Correlation Analyze, Regression Analysis and so on. The results of the study are as following: First, SEM shows that teacher job burnout includes three factors; job satisfaction is a two layers two factors model; social support includes three factors. Second, among them, 21.6 percent of the teachers can feel job burnout strongly; 34.8 percent of the teachers are not satisfied with their job; 27 percent of the teachers' social support is limited. Three, there are significant differences on job burnout, job satisfaction, and social support according to the demology. Fourth, teacher job burnout is negatively and significantly correlated with teacher job satisfaction(r=-.449,P=0.001); teacher job burnout is negatively and significantly correlated with social support (r=-.518, P=0.001). Fifth, the buffering model of social support is examed. Sixth, job burnout can be predicted by job satisfaction, social support and demology variable.
