The report of the 16th session of the CPC pointed out definitely: "A nationality can not be independent in the wood of the world without high spirits and noble characters." The school is an important base that expands and grows the ethos and education is also an important path to get them. The moral course is the important resources that expands and grows the ethos. The outstanding function of the moral lessons naturally leads to the cooperation between the moral qualities lesson in junior middle school and the students' ethos growing.It is the cultural competition in the world that makes the ethos growing a necessity in the moral lesson of the junior middle school;it is also the new request that the socializing market economic development put forward;it is the new content that the socialisms cultural progress give;it is a new target that the basic education course reform brings out.The ethos of the modern era is the spirit of in corporation unification, peace loving, diligence and bravery, the constant exerting and striving which owns the core of patriotism. The Chinese national spirit education of the primary and junior/high middle school is take these excellent spirits of Chinese nation as the contents and provide a purposeful, organized and designed moral education activities for the students collectively or personally. Its purpose is to let the students understand, grasp and continue to expand the excellent spirit of Chinese nation and set up right worldview, the right philosophy of life and value.The key of the moral lesson in junior middle school should strengthen the proud feeling of the students' nationality, which is the first step to establish the nation sense of pride and self-confidence. OXnly inthis method can we make the students enjoy learning knowledge and collective life and have the strong collective honor, the self-respect independence, honesty and keeping promise.And we should develop the students' environmental protection consciousness, creative spirits, ability of the clear distinction between right and wrong, ability of bearing the frustration. The students should expand and grow the ethos with their own actual actions.The teachers should make full use of the textbooks, the news, the traditional culture, and local culture, the Internet to grow the ethos in the moral lesson of the junior middle school. The school should emphasize the experience study, the teaching scenario, the second classroom, the teaching means, the precise demonstration model and the recessive course .The teachers should put the reform evaluation into practice and set a good example for the students.
