The writer first gives a brief introduction, which includes the reasons for choosing the topic, the purpose of writing and literature review.In the first part , the writer describes the definition about cooperation, cooperative learning and student-student cooperative learning. Next, according to the special demand raised in history teaching as well as the theoretic basis, the writer gives the reason why student-student cooperative learning models are advocated in the history classroom teaching.In the second part , the theory of Constructivism is presented in detail. Then the writer puts forward five student-student cooperative learning models. That is: situation model, cooperation model, exchange model, sense structure model and appraisal model. With the theoretic basics, he discusses its guide-line, concept, process, strategy, content, case study and introspection, all of which compose a special teaching model that is practicable in the history classroom teaching. The learning models are described as follows.Situation model consists of making a decision together, revision in pairs, scribbling, three-step interview and combined reading. Cooperation-model includes cooperative note taking, role assignment, "someone is going away, someone else is staying put", writing while sitting round a circle, "folded" appraisal line and "parallel" appraisal line, group survey and cooperative exploration. Exchange model covers cards for delivering a speech, composition-discussion-exchange, sitting around, giving an active speech and using brain. Sense structure model contains summary in neighbors, matching practice, cooperative debate, role-play, story telling, composition and perfection showing. Appraisal model includestests , examinations, having particulars on file each other, group member observation, daily learning record and dairy exchange, team competition and marking.In the third part, the writer points out that a teacher should advocate this kind of learning models so as to help the students develop harmoniously. Besides it is useful for students to improve their interest for history and in addition it leads to improve performance on history test. He puts forward a trend, which is that cooperation should be combined with self-instruction and exploration, competition and individual too.At last, the writer shows the practical perspective and developing tendency of learning models in the history classroom.teaching.
