The Researches On The Optimization Of Gymnastics Methodology

Advanced professional PE reform gets deep and continually development with the reform of national education system. In 2003, the scheme of the subjects' reforms on the PE majors in national colleges was carried out, which indicates that there has been a subjects-system in our PE majors. In that scheme, gymnastics has been confirmed to be the priority course, which plays an important role in realization of the PE training goals and tasks.In the new situation, how to reform and develop the gymnastics teaching with the social requirements is one of the practical projects with wide range foreground . This paper tries to renew the gymnastics teaching ideas and change the inactive situation in the present gymnastics teaching through the point of view of gymnastics teaching contents. This will provide rich food for the future contemplations on the gymnastics teaching as well as its developments.Literature review, experts interview, questionnaire and data statistics are the main research methods in this paper. The focus is the present gymnastics teaching contents in Chinese colleges. This research discloses that the choice of the gymnastics teaching contents is depended by the social elements such as economy politics and culture. In order to develop the teacher with integration ability and strong professional foundation, health and practicability should be considered in choosing the gymnastics teaching contents. Attention should be given to technique training such as horizontal bar, parallel bar and bouncing, which are good for the mental health as well as body building. Based on optimizing of the content of gymnastics teaching in P. E. curriculum system , we must think much of the principal part teaching and the patulous part improving, make the content of gymnastics teaching in P. E. curriculum system more crack and clear, let every school have more independent selectivity in content of gymnastics teaching.
