The Social Support System Of Critical Patients

For a long time, sociologists have been expecting to make a further study of the socially concerned important problems, to promote the progress and development of the society and reduce social price. Relatively speaking to the world, currently, China is in a critical period of social rapid transformation, the boundary line between the rich and the poor is beyond the reason, especially, since the reform and opening-up, during the period of the disintegration of the old medical care system and no perfect state of the new medical security system, the section of medical health care introduces the market mechanism, the management and operation model for obvious benefit is formed gradually, and thus results in the increasing medical treatment expenses. The number of critical patients is increasing year by year, on the contrary, the people's income level is much lower than the increasing level of medical treatment expenses at present. This bad cycle of "To become ill because of poverty, to return to be poor because of illness" is becoming an outstanding social problem between cities and villages in China and directly or latently causes a great change of social structure and society mental state. This thesis mainly discusses the fact that critical patients become new social weak community due to their acute illness, the high devotion of the economy and the low degree of social security, and the new social problem is very representative which result from "To be poor because of illness". Currently, the academic circle has made much study of the social support system for the unemployment workers and the farmers who enter into the city, but there is no research of the weak community such as critical patients. Considering that serious illnesses have an increasing influence on people's life, that critical patients have no way to deal with these social problems on their own, that the support from state and social groups is needed, this thesis hopes to launch an analysis and comparative research of the social support for critical patients and try to seek for the solution to these problems, through the investigation of "social support system of critical patients".Firstly, this thesis launches an investigation and analytical research of the social support system for critical patients..
