As a way of thinking,critical thinking has always been highly valued by Western countries.Critical reading is a reading method emphasized by teachers in reading classes in Western countries.In recent years,the number of people studying abroad has been increasing.The fundamental reason is that Chinese education has influenced the independent thinking of Chinese students.Critical thinking is the foundation of innovation,which meets the needs of the individual and the development of the times.It is an important direction for the cultivation of talents.Only by cultivating innovative thinking can economic globalization develop faster.At the beginning of this century,many countries began to consider what kind of qualities talents need in the future,but a single transfer of knowledge can no longer meet the needs of the times,and the times need talents with critical ability.If the development of human civilization requires critical thinking,then contemporary people,especially China today,need to strengthen critical thinking.The state encourages students to dare to question,discover,and explore,so as to learn to solve practical problems independently.China is called the "world factory" and is a big manufacturing country,but this cannot make up for the lack of creativity in our country.Therefore,the cultivation of national critical thinking should start from now on and from an early age.The middle school age is the golden age for students to learn,so it is urgent to integrate the cultivation into the middle school education.Fortunately,a group of outstanding teachers headed by Yu Dangxu have already thought about this and thought deeply about critical thinking and critical reading teaching.They have done theoretical and practical research for nearly 10 years and tried to explore the real channel of Chinese teaching reform.This article is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part mainly expounds the reasons for selecting the topic,the research status and research methods at home and abroad.The text is composed of five parts.The first part is the core concepts and theoretical basis.The second part is the necessity and feasibility of developing critical thinking ability.The third part is an investigation and research on the teaching status of critical thinking training in junior middle schools in Weinan City,Shaanxi Province.The fourth part combines the relevant literature and teaching practice to give the corresponding teaching strategies to the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese reading in middle schools in Weinan,Shaanxi.The fifth part is the case analysis of reading teaching.Finally,in the conclusion part,the main results and existing problems of the study are summarized and considered.
