Presently, our country has been proceeding modernizational construction. She converted from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society and from project economical society to marketing economical society. This convertion was very acute and deeply influenced contemporary people's thought concept,value direction and life style. Traditional personality hardly has supported modernizational construction. It must construct new modern personality idea to fit and prompt times development. This article deeply explicated the concept of personality and its developing veining : from cling personality to one-legged independent personality to all-round developing and free personality. While the common people free personality changed the tradition which had saint personality and gentleman personality in China philosophy, it throughtly discoursed how to be a common people and contemporary people.The common people-oriented free personality is not only the unit of knowing, pathetic and will, but also the unit of truth , good and aesthetic.While the common people-oriented free personality upholded subjiective ,it paid attention to relation between free personality and society. It embodied the unity of conscious principle and willing principle and included free specific. It was particular thoughts formulation of class subject and mutual subject in modern self-consciousness. In order to construct this personality , firstly people need strengthen three-outlook education in practicing and attach importance to cultural active effect and personality theory become virtue. Sencodly, the common people-oriented free personality depended on social support which create all kinds of conditions to further people to output potency.
