The Study On The School-Based Management Adaptability In Public Primary Schools In China

The study on the school-based management has become more and morepopular all over the world since 1960s. It came to China in 1980s. From then on, many people began to study and practice different kinds of independent management models in schools, and so many theory researches and practicing models which were called school-based appeared. But most researches on the school independent management focused on the secondary and higher colleges as well as the private middle and primary schools, its reason might be the right of independent management in these schools. However it is inevitable for the public schools to take part in the education administration reform. Therefore, under the current headmaster-in-charge system, focusing on the public schools, the writer tries to explore the school-based management model which is suitable for them. By adjusting the management mechanism inside the schools and constructing corresponding management models, this paper's tenet is to provide references for the school reform.The paper is composed of the introduction, main body and conclusion.In the first part, it tells the reasons ,aims, skeletons and approaches of the study. Based on looking back the development and changing of the foreign and domestic school-based management, using the foreign practicing experience for reference, the writer analyzes and summarizes the actuality and problems of school-based management researches in China, at the same time , identifies the pivotal concepts such as management mechanism inside the schools in the paper.In the main body part, the writer begins to study from these two viewpoints such as school organization and environment assurance, and tries to explore the adjustment and construction of the management mechanism inside the schools.
