Research On Internationalization And Countermeasures Of Higher Education In Guangxi

With the economic globalization, political pluralism and the development of information technology, higher education in different countries and regions have performed cross-border and inter-ethnic, cross-cultural multilateral exchanges and cooperation and assistance. The strengthening higher education internationalization has become a must.Due to historical reasons, Guangxi is a backward minority autonomous region, with a stagnant economic and social development, the low level of education, especially higher education. However, Guangxi has a good external environment to internationalize its higher education ,which accompany by China's WTO entry, the initiation of China — the ASEAN Free Trade Area, the implementation of the western development strategy, the signature and implementation of CEPA agreement, especially choosing Nanning as the permanent place of China -- ASEAN Expo. In order to accelerate the process of internationalization of higher education in Guangxi, and to achieve a leapfrog in its development, careful analysis of the status quo of higher education in Guangxi, its influencing factors, opportunities and challenges which it is encountering and then discussing its development and accelerating its higher education internalization process and realize its leapfrog development.The thesis focuses on the study of the internationalization and countermeasure of higher education in Guangxi and aim at providing the theory and reference for the government in setting out and implementing the development policy and setting train standard of the talent.we can provide the government with theoretical support while they draw up and implement the policy of the internationalization of higher education in Guangxi, by the documents, inquiry, comparison.
