The Research Of Cooperative Learning In English Writing In Technical Secondary School

Cooperative learning is language teaching that promotes students interaction in heterogeneous groups. Cooperative learning is an approach in which students work together to accomplish shared learning goals and to maximize their own and their group mates' achievements rewards.Recent research has emphasized the instruction of the writing process in cooperative learning. However, there have been few the studies about how to improve the alienated companion relationship and to promote self-esteem. Also, the previous research has focused on Junior and Senior middle school students as well as college students, excluding the technical secondary school students.This thesis is to explore the writing by means of cooperative learning to improve the companion relationships, and to promote self-esteem among the technical secondary school students. The research subjects involved in the study were Ningxia Art School students. Their specialties are music, painting art, and dancing. The literature, questionnaire, interview and classroom were used as research methods.Three major findings were obtained from the four-month research. 1) The writing performance was enhanced by means of cooperative learning; 2) The alienated companion...
