Since 21 century, caused by requirement of globalization, intellectual economy challenge and synthetic competition power among countries, education similar with other social field, has been full of time challenge. Preliminary and secondary school teacher are valuable resource and the most active element in education reform, also as motive force of teacher and basic education development. Theory discussion and test is putting on the way, focused on preliminary and secondary school teacher development and teacher education reform. In southwestern China area which is lack of information and education resource correspondingly, It is becoming an impending issue that how to help preliminary and secondary school teachers to adapt themselves to the requirement of time and new cycle of course reform.Theory exploration integrated with demonstration research is adopted in this paper. Some issue is concerning, such as career identification and satisfaction, evaluation of self professional development and direction, influential factor of teacher development, teaching ability and professional level, understanding and attitude to reform in school, and teacher opinion on present train and evaluation system, etc. Investigation with questionnaire designed by writer and other partners have been completed last year among teachers and administration personnel from different region in southwestern China, different schools, different nationality, gender and working age. This study analyses the result of interviews and 856 questionnaires collected from 44 schools in 5 cities and countries, in order to find present situation of preliminary and secondary school teacher development in southwest China.This paper is consist of 3 parts:Part1: The intension and characteristics of preliminary and secondary school teacher development;Part2: Find problem of preliminary and secondary school teacher development in southwestern China, with the analysis of conversation and questionnaire,...
