The Research On The Index System Of Chinese Excellent Taekwondo Athletes' Selecting Materials

Taekwondo is a new event. At present research on selecting Taekwondo athletes is not very perfect. In order to perfect the theory of Taekwondo's selecting material, provide coaches with more grounds and guidance concerning selecting materials, help coaches improve the efficiency of selecting materials, and strengthen the direction and accuracy of selecting materials, by referring to papers, and paying visit to experts and Taekwondo coaches of some provinces, provincial cities and Sport Institutes, this research establishes the frame of the index system of Taekwondo selecting materials. This index system is composed of one-level index and two-level index, which involves seven aspects of figures, physiology, psychology, sport talents, physical attribute, event techniques and match techniques.After establishing the indexes, This research measures and collects the statistics of 108 excellent Taekwondo's athletes concerning figures, physiology, psychology, sport talents, physical attribute, event techniques, and match techniques from 8 provinces and provincial cities; orders, calculates and analyzes them; finds out the regulation among them; learn about materials related to these excellent athletes; obtains various indexes' mean and standard difference of these excellent athletes in order to provide grounds and reference for selecting the Taekwondo athletes.Because Taekwondo matches are held according to the level of different weights, there probably exists difference in selecting athletes' indexes of the different levels. This research mainly studies the relationship between match performance and various elements according to the level of separate weights, and finds out the important points of selecting athletes' indexes of the different levels. Through the relevant analysis of each index and sport performance, this research finds each index has different influence on match performance, and among various levels some indexes have difference. In order for the selecting materials to have direction, this research orders various indexes separately according to different levels, based on relevance of various indexes and match performance.Through research, it is found that: when selecting materials, because different levels have different standard, and various indexes' important points of different levels are different, be sure not to select materials according to the same standard; boxing techniques are little related to match performance, so when selecting materials be sure not to pay attention to the boxing techniques, and don't spend too much energy and time on training...
