With the advancing of educational informatization and people's respect for teacher's education, teacher's professional development has become a hot topic. Many scholars pay much attention to the knowledge basis of teacher's professional development—practical knowledge. From the documents analysis, we know that now in china, only few people observe and study the specific representation of practical knowledge in teacher's teaching practice, also few people observe and study the factors affecting the formation and development of teacher's practical knowledge and no body study the practical knowledge of information technology teachers. So in this thesis, I try to pay attention to the practical knowledge of information technology teachers, then discuss the influential factors and give some advice.In this thesis, I use the method of narrative inquiry and get the data about two information technology teachers by observing their teaching practice and by thorough interview, then I present their teaching practice and their opinion about teaching in the way of telling story: in the first story, I narrate it from three aspects, including Wang juan's administration work, her teaching circumstances and her life story; in the second story, I narrate it from five aspects, including Zhangqun's examination lesson, exercitation guidance, the preparation for education reform, her expectation for future and her life story. In the brief summary of each story, I analyze each teacher's practical knowledge, it contains:(1), their teaching purpose for information technology curriculum.(2), their own location as an information technology teacher.(3), their self-efficiency and teaching style showing in teaching practice.(4), their teaching methods used in teaching progress. After relating and analyzing the practical knowledge of two teachers, this thesis discusses the factors which effect the formation and growth of two teachers' practical knowledge. At last, I try to discuss the way of professional development for informational technology teachers in the angle of practical knowledge and hope it can give some enlighten for the professional development of information technology teachers.This research finds that:1, Two teachers have some discrimination in the stability of practical knowledge.2, There are many-sided factors affecting the formation and growth of...
