The teacher's practical knowledge means a knowledge system, in possession of, embraced and conformed by the individual teacher, including the personal value, faith, educational and teaching view, and so on, driven from educational practices. Practical knowledge is the main knowledge foundation of teacher's specialty development, built upon the experiences and existed during the current teaching activities, and foreshows the possible teaching activities in the future. However, it all through hadn't aroused enough attention.Based on the research of practical knowledge theories, via the method of narrative inquiry, the writer tells a vivid and real story of an excellent junior middle school's teacher about her teaching activities and daily life, to unveil the practical knowledge and its developing trends that hidden under the story, and inspire the view to the primary and middle school's teacher and the development of practical knowledge.The article includes four parts, details followed:firstly, it mentioned the background, based on the existing theories, announced a totally fresh understanding towards teacher's practical knowledge, and briefly introduced the research method and process. Secondly, the writer described the stories about Miss Zhang's class teaching, management and daily life, at the same time, analyzed and explored the practical knowledge. Thirdly, based on stories the writer understood and analyzed Miss Zhang's practical knowledge, being a researcher. Lastly, Miss Zhang recalled the growth experiences, and the writer discussed developing trends of teacher's practical knowledge internally and externally. Finally, the writer analyzed and comprehended Miss Zhang's practical knowledge. Analysis of personal history, consideration of teaching practical experience, and mutually cooperation and dialogue formed main pass for teachers to achieve practical knowledge.To sum up, teacher's practical knowledge plays a critical role of professional development, and influences the teaching quality; so they should advance and perfect their knowledge with continuous practices and considerations, then lead the students' growth healthily and development full sides finally.
