Chemical learning strategies research in high schools has very important practical significance .It is not only the request for the new curriculum reforms ,and reflection of students body position process, but also it is the need of improving the students' over all qualities .On the basis of previous research, combining learning strategies research chemistry and chemical learning strategies research as the main clue, this paper explicitly proposes the concept and classification of chemical learning strategies, analyses the relation between chemical cognitive strategies and chemical metacognitive learning strategies, and indicates the core position of chemical metacognitive learning strategies .By summarizing the theories of metacognitive, this paper proposes that learning, which is based on feedback, is the process that cognitive body constantly carries on self-monitoring, self-regulation and self-management to cognitive process and results. However, metacognitive theories, which contain cognitive knowledge, matacognitive feel and metacognitive control emphasize initiative, awareness and body function of learners themselves during learning process.By investigating and analysising the present situation of chemical metacognitive learning strategies in Yumen senior middle school, this paper proposes that chemical metacongnitive strategies should be used in daily teaching process. In other words, teachers should reliably establish and students-centered idea in teaching create a democratic and harmonious class, and help the students develop interests in learning and get a better idea of their learning goals. They should impart the knowledge of chemical metcognitive learning strategies and instruct it. By training students self-studied strategy, they should guide the students to learn the knowledge migration . Finally, teachers should try their best to improve students' learning ability through chemical metacongnitive learning strategies and scientific evaluation.
