Learning motivation and learning strategies are two important concepts in learning psychology and education psychology, both effect the conduct of students'learning. In our current education system, the academic burden on students is relatively large, do research in middle students'chemical learning motivation, learning strategies and academic achievements can be propitious to improve the intensity of students learning motivation, the level of students learning strategies, the efficiency of students chemical academic achievements and can help students learn how to learn.This paper, based on the questionnaire survey, aims to analyse and discuss the relation of XT middle students chemical learning movitation, learning strategies and academic achievements. It collects its date through questionnaire survey by threating three grade of middle students from three middle school in xiangtang city. Its research materials are self-authorized questionnaire and the 2010 final exam scores for the study of chemical to xiangtan citySpecifially, this paper investigate the following main problems:the basic situation of middle students chemical leanring motivation,learning strategies; the characteristics and develop trend of middle students chemical learning motivation,learning strategies (including gender,grade,age,family backgroud,school nature,the only child or not,the different levels of parental and so on); the relationship between middle chemical leanring motivation,leanring strategies and academic achievements.The results as follows: First, there exists significant difference in grade of middle school students learning motivation and learning strategies;Secend, there has no significant difference in gender of middle school students learning motivation and learning strategies,but cognitive drive;Third, there is significant positive correlation beween chemical learning motivation and chemical learning achievement in middle school students; Fourth, there is significant positive correlation beween chemical learning strategies and chemical learning achievement in middle school students; The relevant research of middle school students'learning motivation, learning strategies and academic achievement is on the basis of previous research, through refine the research object, extend the research content,researchers hope that further extend the relation of learning motivation, learning strategy, learning achievement.But limited by objective conditions and research ability, this research also has many deficiencies need to further improve.
