Students must learn how to pursue their study in order to adapt to the changeable and competitive society. That is to say, it is important to teach the method of learning to benefit students throughout their whole life. Students are the key to educating themselves, and it is dependent on their active and effective learning that language learning can succeed. However, students who have already had good learning habits, self-control and awareness of learning strategies are only a few. I argue that it is vital to cultivate effective learning strategies in students, which "The English Language Curriculum Standard for Senior High School" (2003) emphasizes as an essential teaching aim. But many people only regard "resources" for English language learning as textbooks, audio and video materials, dictionaries, libraries, inter-net, radio and TV programmes. While in the process of teaching, I find some other factors which are influential, and I name them "internal" factors. It is a pity that many people haven't put them into full use. Thus, students can not get the help of systematical learning resources for English language learning and it will harm their life-long development. Therefore, I started a scrutinized study into theoretical and practical researches about learning resource strategies for language learning home and abroad. I launched this experiment in order to broaden people's mind and testify that internal learning resource strategies are vital to English teaching and learning in senior high school. Also, I hope to arouse close attention to systematical learning resource strategies in teachers of English in senior schools, and help them effectively instruct students to wield these strategies in their English language learning and therefore improve the efficiency of English language teaching and learning. Thus, students can obtain a strong support for their life-long study and development.
