To cultivate English-writing ability is one of the most difficult aspects both for students and teachers, and it is one of the standards to measure the English teaching quality. However, the proper skill to grasp in the writing to arouse students' interest is also the difficulty in solving the problem. Through the research work, the author finds there are some problems exiting in the teaching of English writing, which are mainly reflected in two respects, namely the problems to find the effective ways to solving teaching method and the way of assessment in teaching process, such as the poor grasp of basic language knowledge, the negative interference with native language, and the lack of writing strategies.According to the above found, the author put forward the Process writing in the English writing teaching .The Process writing is based on the traditional "product teaching" and refers to the study which is fixed on the students' interest and groups' cooperation. The writing method is to research on the writing process according to the field of modern cognitive psychology, which is used to open up students' mind to the cognitive Strategies and to practice the theory of Schema in the writing activity.Contrast experimental method is adopted in the research. Students of two classes in Senior Three are randomly arranged in the study. One class is ordered as the experimental, the Process Writing , the other is referred to as the contrast, the traditional product approach adopted.. The Experiment will have been almost half the year. In the experiment, the author had taken some a few activities such as students' practical writing ability, the teaching journals, formative assessment tables; the diaries as well as interviews. As the data are processed with the help of SPSS for windows 12.0 and Microsoft Excel.The results show that the process writing has greater effects on improvement of the students' writing interest than the traditional product approach. The students who are in the experimental class now dare write instead of being afraid of writing. They also indicate that different range of improvement happens among groups with good and better English bases. Those who have poor English bases didn't achieve...
