With the speeding up of the urbanization process of China, more and more spare peasant labors have flown into cities. The education of children of the peasant labors in cities as a result has become a problem that calls attention from all sides of walks and has become a tough problem waiting to be solved in the work of compulsory education. At present, the researches still focus on the macro level of the direction, amount of population move and the influence on the economic development of the place where the labors immigrate into or migrate from. While researchés at the micro level of the consequences of population move, especially researches into the education situation and affecting factors of the children of peasant labors are still comparatively few. Due to this, this paper will analyze the reasons why the study achievements of children of peasant labors in urban public schools are just lower the mediocre and will put forward suggestions to solve this problem, aiming at a deep consideration and exact understanding of the study situation of children of peasant labors.It is of great importance to raise the study achievement level of children of peasant labors, which is part of the improving quality of the whole nation move, a concrete embodiment of educational equality and also the requirement and task of urban sustainable development. This paper analyzes the reasons that cause the unsatisfactory study achievements of children of peasant labors and researches some key problems from aspects of society, school, family and the students themselves, with the characteristics and actual facts of them considered. Through analysis of cases and a great many of questionnaires, it labors the reasons causing the problem both in theory and practice and puts forward some proposals and countermeasures for improvement.The data used in this research are from questionnaires and interviews which guarantee their trueness.
