My View On Environmental Moral Education Of School In China

Since 1950s,on the one hand human beings'ability of getting resources and creating wealth is being strengthened continuously and the domain of that is being extended unceasingly, on the other hand there follows more and more environmental problems which is erupting continuously. The reason not only isn't the problem of economy and technology but also involves the values and moral care of human beings. Hence, human beings should remold their values and promote moral quality. Human beings should build the moral relationship between men and nature.Environmental moral education is the base of building the moral relationship between men and nature. The paper firstly talks about the meaning and core of environmental morality, and then comes to the environmental education as a new branch of moral education. Environmental education extends to create a new field,environmental moral education can help citizens realize that the traditional development model is harmful to the environment and enhance the'citizens'quality of environment morality in order to realize"the all-round development of human beings". It's also important for building ecological civilization and reachieving the harmony between men and nature. And the author presents the content about environmental moral education.The author touches on the current situation of china's environmental moral education. Thus we carried out the survey among the students in Guangxi, with reference to relevant surveys in china. The author tries to understand the real situation of current environment moral education by the way of comparison. The conclusion comes as follows: the teaching materials lack and the method of education is outmoded; the curriculum isn't rational; the learning attitude of some students is negative; the family education fails; the school educational results aren't good.Based on the investigations on the preceding part, the author analyses the shortcomings of current environmental moral education. She claims that the reasons are as follows: firstly, the guiding ideology and the educational perceptions are backward; secondly, the educational administrant system of environment moral education and the valuational system aren't perfect; thirdly, the demand for economic benefit is undue; the influence about environment is indirect.
