Since the 1960 s, the deterioration of ecological environment posed a grave threat for sustainable development of china’s economy,with the deepening environmental crisis,environmental ethics education has aroused great concern of the community.Environmental ethics education is to education people have to protect the environment,care for the earth,handle the relationship between people and environment correctly. And it demands that people should establish moral responsibility of environmental protection and earth cherish. Environmental ethics education’s aim is to rely on moral strength to change people’s attitudes and values,so the environmental ethics education is not an important way to maintain harmony between man and nature,but also to promote the sustainable development of human society. Primary school students are the main constructers and masters, so whether they can grasp the environmental knowledge, own environmental consciousness,have to protect it and establish correct ethics are the important things on our national development and revival.This paper focuses on the current situation and problems of X primary school of Chengguan District of Lanzhou city to research environmental moral education.Through questionnaire, interviews and observation to obtain status quo about environmental ethics education. This article based on the investigation to propose related suggestions about X primary school of Chengguan District moral education environment.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction, including the study of the origin, purpose,meaning,research idea and method.The second part is paper reviews. First, I define the definition of environmental moral and environmental moral education, and I make the differences and connection between environmental education and environmental ethics education, second I make the paper reviews, including home and foreign research.The third part is theoretical origins of environmental ethics education.From the ancient, modern and contemporary to discuss the environmental ethics thoughts,and also include western environmental ethics.The fourth part is the description and analysis of the status quo. First I describe the basic information about X primary school of Chengguan District, and then, I use questionnaire,interviews and observation to analyze the status quo of elementary environmental ethics education.The fifth part is mainly from individual, home and school to propose issues of environmental moral education about X primary school.The sixth part is from the theory of pedagogy and other disciplines to put forward the suggestions of elementary’s environmental ethics education.
