Chemical substance knowledge run through the contents of chemistry study at the stage of secondary school including the composition, structure, nature, change, use, existence, the law of facture and so on. The"structure-nature-use"is one of the most important study means, so the core of studying chemical substance is substantial structure. But the kinds of chemical substance are various, the knowledge of substantial structure are abstract and not easy to learn .It is difficult for students to band macroscopical substance and microcosmic structure together. All of these make students learn chemical substantial structure knowledge difficulty and inefficiently. Teachers offer some mallet models to students in the study process of substantial structure. But such teaching is not raised to a theoretical altitude. It can not understand the development of students'cognitive psychology and individual cognitive difference. Based on the analyzing of these facets, we proposed this research task. The intention is to construct the secondary school students'study process model of chemical substantial structure.Guided by the correlative theories of epistemology, scientific history and psychology, especially information-processing theory of learning, cognitive style theory and educational modeling theory, we carried out the research at the Accessorial High School of Capital Normal University in Guilin for 4 months and chose the students of Grade-2 as study Targets. The primary methods we took were Instructional Experiment Studies and Survey Research including questionnaire survey, interview survey and case research.The Secondary School Students'Study Process Model of Chemical Substantial Structure was concluded at the base of case study. In the process of teaching, we carried it into execution. By practice study, we not only substantiated this study model but also constructed the five relevant subschemas. After evaluated it in nature, we proposed a new tool that was The Assessing Quantity Table of Secondary School Students'study process. It's validity by the experts assessing and further statistical analyzing and checking. We appraised the model in quantity applying this assessing quantity table. We carried out an experiment. For the experimental group, the thirty students took part in this active .For the controlled group, the other thirty students did not join. The two groups were measured respectively. Using SPSS tool, these data collected were analyzed, and the result shows that the experimental group precedes the controlled class at grades.
