Gender as one of the variables in society has been noticed by many scholars. The research result of Bio-chemistry, psychology, social, organizational behavior and so on have proved that there indeed exist many differences between male and female physically, mentally and in behavior mode, however, except physical differences, the differences of two genders'mentality and behavior mode are of some extent and tendency, that can be overcome by trainings. Gender differences have positive and negative influences in organizational culture, and the paper focuses on the negative one.The physical differences between male and female are innate,while mental and behavioral differences have been caused socially. Under large pressure of social rules and gender stereotype, men and women have different reaction and experience in their socialization process, and the socialization results are different. The paper asserts that gender differences are the outcome of the social cultural influence and shaping, and that gender role expectation and gender stereotype are the main causes not only for acquired gender differences, but also for the negative influences the gender differences bring to organizational culture. The key to deal with these negative influences is to build appropriate social gender ideology, which not only confesses the objective differences but also has a clear realization of the causes for them, considering the gender equality from the social lay, and constituting the challenge to gender stereotype.Although to the whole society, it's a hard work to totally change the traditional ideas on gender, which have lasted for thousands of years, true gender equality will come true soon in organizational culture and even in the whole society as social progress and women awareness of their social status.The paper generalizes studies of various disciplines, discussing the inner relationship between gender differences and organizational culture, extracting the related phenomena of gender differences, exploring causes of these negative influences, and taking into account China's circumstances. Besides, guided by the theory of social gender ideology, the paper explores the approach to gender equality in organizational culture and the whole society so as to overcome the negative influences of gender differences in organizational culture.
