Teacher culture is defined as the way of thinking, the way of feelingand the way of doing, which are characters of most teachers. Teacherculture greatly influences teacher-student relationship. The author choosesthree trends that are projecting in the teacher culture contents, respectivelyanalyses the authoritarianism, the elitism, the efficiency and theirinfluences on teacher-student relationship. From the cultural point, theauthor expects to enrich the research on teacher-student relationship andto help re-build harmonious teacher-student relationship.The trends of authoritarianism, elitism, efficiency in teacher culturehave their causes of formation. They penetrate the teacher-studentinteractivity and give negative influences on teacher-student relationship .Itleads to the coldness of teacher-student relationship, the long psychologicaldistance between teacher and student, the utilization of teacher-studentrelationship, the different teacher-student relationship and so on. Theauthor put emphasis on the display of the three trends and their influenceson teacher-student relationship, summarizes the inner connections amongthe three trends, put forward the target of overcoming teacher culture andre-building teacher-student relationship.
