Essay teaching is an important component of language teaching in secondary schools, but it is also the weakest in Chinese language teaching . Essay teaching is in a "two for" (teachers teaching difficult, difficult students essay), "low" (low levels of student essay) situation. This article analysis essay teaching status, the drawbacks of traditional composition model, and then put forward "say the title writing pedagogy" "say the title writing pedagogy" is a developmental teaching method : according to essay topics, before students start writing essays, under the direction of teachers, students, the main body of learning express themselves from some aspects, such as how to check the topics and how to establish the main idea to disclose their knowledge, fully exposing students thinking process. Teachers in a timely manner contrary guide students to actively think about, mutually discuss topics to seek to resolve the issue in-depth understanding and to enhance the abilities of the students writing.This article analysis the theoretical basis of "say the title writing pedagogy" from four aspects: its theoretical basis; the ideological education of some famous language educators; creative experience of some writers and similar practices of teaching colleagues . This article also gives a detailed description of "say the title writing pedagogy" from its principle, its operation steps, its periods, its evaluation indicators, its characteristics and demands on students and request for teachers.This article centers on the significance and role of Teaching Writing and said", training students oral communication skills and good quality thinking. It has the direct role in promoting students' writing ability and quality. At the same time, the article expounds several issues which need attention in the " say the title writing pedagogy". First, pay attention to encouraging the active participation of students. Second, the use of certain writing theory to direct" say the title " activities. Third, a combination of written feedback that means achieving the conversion from "saying the title " to writing ." say the title writing pedagogy" tries to solve the problem of difficult students essay. It can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students learning and make the composition process of teaching easy. It is a practical writing pedagogy which can achieve the purposes of improving the quality of essay.
