Low-performing schools, important reflects of our unbalanced development in basic education, are more and more concerned since 1980s. Meanwhile, there appear a series of theories and opinions which can help to improve low-performing schools, such as Success Education, Hope Education, Understanding Education, etc. Based on the administrative practice in A High School, this essay analyzed some useful methods and strategies associating with Faith-based Administration to improve low-performing schools. Sharing prospects and faith with the other members in schools, administrators can encourage all the school members to work hard and overcome all the difficulties, and therefore, to gain the development of students, teachers and schools.Faith-based Administration is not a new name. It roots from traditional administration theory, comes from the practice of School A, and exis in our daily administration activities. It focus on mental and moral leadership, creates an atmosphere of respct, understanding, trust, harmony, and gumption. Laying stress on the consolidation between faith and practice, Faith-based Administration not only pursuitrs efficiency, but also places "morality" and "faith" in their first position. It not only stresses the ethic of administration, but also pursuits "Self-Administration" among members in "Faith Community".This research is divided into six parts. Chapter One mainly clarify the state of the students' Low Self-assurance before the performing of Faith-based Administration. It proves the necessity of the performing of Faith-based Administration in High Schools. An interview has been made with the principal in Chapter Two. The principal tells his faith in school administration. His faith in school administration plays a very important role in carrying out the Faith-based Administration. Chapter Three is the practice of the Faith-based Administration in A High School. Chapter Four is the theory from the practice, including the fundamental character of Faith-based Administration, basic factors and key faiths in improving low-performing schools. In Chapter Five, this essay tells how to apply the theory of the Faith-based Administration to the similar schools. More Cases are provided to show how to improve students' confidence in Chapter Six.
